Born: Judge Gremmel is a third generation Arizona native, born and raised in Globe, Arizona. She has ties to Pinal County back to the late 1800s when her great grandfather started the first bakery in Florence, Arizona. Her grandmother and father were both born and raised in Florence.
Education: Northern Arizona University
Experience: After college, Judge Gremmel began working for the City of Phoenix Prosecutor’s Office as a legal assistant. During her time with the City of Phoenix, she worked in several capacities beginning as a legal assistant, and as the supervisor of the Legal Assistant Unit. She also worked for approximately five years as the assistant to the City Attorney in the Civil Division. Her final four years with the City of Phoenix, she served as the administrator over the Victim Services Unit. Judge Gremmel retired from the City of Phoenix with nearly 30 years of service.
Today, as the elected Justice of the Peace for Pinal County Judicial Precinct 6, Judge Gremmel serves the Apache Junction, Gold Canyon, and Queen Valley communities. Judge Gremmel is quoted as saying: “I love the law, especially criminal law, and because of that love I have worked my entire career in the legal field. As the Justice of the Peace, I will treat everyone with respect and professionalism. I am committed to the fairness and the rights of all people, whether they are the victim or the accused.”
Former Member: Judge Gremmel was a councilmember on the Apache Junction City Council and served as the cities representative for the Greater Phoenix Economic Council (GPEC).

Family: Judge Gremmel is married to Ted Gremmel, and they reside in Apache Junction. They have one daughter who is currently a Junior at Arizona State University.
